How do I add a video to my Realtor.com listing?

Realtor.com takes a video as a link: in your free Professional dashboard, open Listings › Listing Details › Virtual tour / video link and add a custom link to YouTube, Vimeo, Matterport or Asteroom. The link must open a web page, not a raw video file.

Step by step

  1. Upload the video to YouTube or Vimeo and copy its page link.
  2. Sign in to the Realtor.com Professional dashboard (free) and open Listings.
  3. Open the listing, then Listing Details, then Virtual tour / video link.
  4. Add a custom link, paste the page link and save.

What Realtor.com accepts

  • How it's added: A link (YouTube, Vimeo, Matterport, Asteroom) in the Professional dashboard
  • Accepted links: Must open a web page, not a raw video file
  • Length, size, orientation: Not stated
  • Cost: The dashboard account is free

Making the video from your listing photos

Because the video plays in an embedded player, a horizontal 16:9 video fills it best. Keep it short: buyers scroll through many listings.

Made from listing photos, the video can be horizontal (16:9) or vertical (9:16). With Imoframe you pick the format before ordering and can switch it afterwards; a horizontal video also comes with a 9:16 download for Reels and TikTok.
