How do I add a video to my idealista listing?

Agencies upload videos in idealista/tools › your listing › Edit › Multimedia: up to 6 videos of up to 600 MB each (mp4, mov, avi and more), or a YouTube or Vimeo link. Note that idealista's terms forbid videos based on photo montages of the property, and its help centre advises against slideshows: a video made from listing photos may be removed there.

Step by step

  1. In idealista/tools, open your listings, then the listing, then Edit.
  2. Go to Multimedia and upload the video file, or add a YouTube or Vimeo link.
  3. Keep the video about the property itself and don't reuse one video across listings, as idealista's help centre asks.

What idealista accepts

  • Files: Up to 6 videos, up to 600 MB each; avi, mov, wmv, mpeg, rm, mp4, flv, m2t or 3gp
  • Not allowed: Videos based on photo montages of the property (terms for Spain, Portugal and Italy); videos in auction listings
  • Length, orientation: Not stated

Making the video from your listing photos

Because idealista's terms rule out videos built from photo montages, use a filmed walkthrough on idealista. idealista doesn't say whether videos animated from photos with AI count as montages; until it does, don't risk the listing.

A video made from your listing photos still works everywhere else: Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, WhatsApp and your agency's website. With Imoframe it can be horizontal or vertical, with the price and your contact in Spanish, Portuguese or Italian.

Also note: idealista says that since August 2, 2026 the EU AI Act requires AI-generated content to be labelled.
